Top
The term Top refers to the page hierarchy. A "top page" is a page that has no parent page.
A top page may have SubPages (children). These children and their children recursively (the descendants) are not top pages.
Top may also be used as a local InterWiki name to securely address top level pages. This may be necessary when you have identical child and top pages: see e. g. Context (links to the subpage) and Top:Context.
