If you login to a ProWiki system, you need to "EnableCookies" in the Browser. For some functions JavaScript should also be enabled.
If you login to a ProWiki system, you need to "EnableCookies" in the Browser. A Cookie is a line of data that is sent from the WikiServer to the Browser, who stores the Cookie and sends it back with each single page request. So the WikiServer can identify the requests as coming from the same user (who has certain rights or preferences).

For some other ProWiki functions JavaScript should also be enabled.

The Browser is the standard software used to access the Internet (the world wide web) and the wiki.

Popular Browsers are:

  • Microsoft Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Opera
