Pass Word

Difference (previous author) (Change, Edit, normal page display)

Changed: 1c1,14
Describe the new page here.
The PassWord is a string of letters and digits, the less intelligible the better (saver). Simple words like "tennis" or "jennifer" are useless as passwords (because program can break the code) and are therefore not allowed. The standard configuration requires at least two digits and 6 characters total. PassWords like "xh22gt" or "alp712" are ok, although pretty much at the minimum.

See also:
* LoginForm -- the form where you login and enter the PassWord
* UserStatus and UploadDirectory -- the main reasons why users log in

=== Notes ===

Option/PasswordCharMin and Option/PasswordDigitMin can be used to defined the minimum requirements for total string length and minimum number of digits.

For Admins: if for some reason a simpler PassWord is needed it can be defined by ManualUserAdministration (not recommended).
