Blank Replacement String

Difference (previous author) (Change, Edit, normal page display)

Changed: 1c1,6
A string of characters that is used to represent a blank character within a pagename. Currently this is not configurable. It is set to two underline characters: "__".
Typically a wiki page name can not directly contain a blank character (informally "space"). The most common WorkAround is the use of the underscore character "_" while writing and the automatic rendering as a blank when showing the page name in various places (as the page title, in RecentChanges, in the PageIndex, in PageLists, ...).

ProWiki makes this configurable through the Option/SpaceReplacement.

The BlankReplacementString is treated like a lower case character in pagenames.
